The Council of St. Joseph's men’s group defines and discusses what a good Catholic Man should be and how he should live his daily life. This group gives guys the opportunity to connect with other men while having the freedom to be honest. Thus, we are striving to encourage a real, authentic community amongst Catholic men, a brotherhood.
The Council comes together once a week for discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, mentorship, and worship. The Council of St. Joseph's mission is for men to learn and discuss what it is to be an authentic Catholic man, while encouraging and motivating each other on our paths to holiness.
The group's primary focus is Saint Joseph, his example, and the Consecration to St. Joseph book by Father Donald Calloway. We strive to be like St. Joseph, by becoming authentic Catholic men and leading our families into the Kingdom of Heaven. Our group is confidential. The council is held on Saturday’s at 8 am at the St. Marks Youth Center, except for the 4th Saturday of the month when we meet up at Haggard Park in Downtown Plano at 8:30 am for group and then host a group Rosary prayer at 10am.
