The Compassion Ministry Team is looking for additional volunteers/ministers to assist with funeral receptions. This team of volunteers serves families who are who are grieving the death of a loved one by being the hands and feet, and the loving arms of Christ. The team primarily assists with the set-up, serving, and clean-up during and following the funeral reception. Most receptions are late morning and early afternoon – Monday through Thursday. They often contribute side dishes, desserts, and beverages to complement the main dish (meat(s) or sandwiches), which is provided by the family. If a family is unable to provide the main dish or sandwich tray, Compassion Ministry may be able to assist.
